Applications are open for the Kectil Program 2025 for Youth Leaders. “KECTIL” is an acronym that refers to the Knowles Educational and Charitable Trust for International Leadership. The Program connects talented youth leaders born for greatness in developing countries worldwide for deep discussion and networking about issues that matter, as well as proposed actions to improve the quality of life locally and globally. The Program is offered for free from the Malmar Knowles Family Foundation. Youth in the Kectil Program are referred to as Kectil Colleagues.
Kectil Colleagues are expected to:
Reach out to other Kectil Colleagues around the world for friendship and understanding.
Do your Assignments and submit them in a timely way.
Comment on the Assignments of your peers with positive, proactive thoughts.
Volunteer to take on tasks to help the Program.
Get active in your regional group.
Advise the Kectil leaders when you are in a situation of danger or risk so they can help.
Understand that nothing comes easy and there is “no free lunch.” The results will not be achieved without hard work, dedication and an open mindedness to cultural understanding and compassion.

Eligibility
Open to high potential youth (aged 17-26) in least developed and developing countries who have demonstrated a talent and passion for leadership, scholarship or innovation;
Must be proficient in English;
Have access to a computer and the internet.
